The Timber Men Stompers
The Timber Men Stompers, is a “Hot swing vocal harmony group” made up of four or five young men living in the south of France. They have been playing Old Time Popular music from the 1930s and 1940s for almost 20 years now.
Possessed and passionate by the swing of the beginnings of America and France (Django Reinhardt), the Quintet broadcasts marvelous harmonized voices with an implacable rhythm. They played in Shanghai (China) for 3 1/2 months in the city’s most popular Jazz club called “House of blues & Jazz” (6 days out of 7).
Some of them played with another jazz band “MagicShookheads” in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Canada, and all over Europe, mostly for Lindy Hoppers, Blues and Balboa Dancers.
