Frida & Skye
Frida Segerdahl started dancing at the age of 5. During her teenage years, she was enrolled in the dance program studying jazz, modern and ballet and more. Since the age of 9, Frida started competing in Double Bugg and Boogie Woogie and although she was champion in both categories, she wanted more. At the age of 15, she attended Herrang Dance Camp and fell in love with the Lindy Hop. In no time at all, he was asked to join the world’s largest jazz dance company, Rhythm Hot Shots. She has performed, competed and taught all over the world.
Skye Humphries was first convinced by her mother to dance the Lindy Hop in 1996, but quickly discovered her own love of social dancing, swing music and the Lindy Hop community. This led to a broader interest in dance and he took classes in ballet, modern and jazz. Since 1999, he has been teaching wherever Lindy Hop is practiced, from national weekends to international dance camps. His involvement in the Lindy Hop sparked his interest in America’s history and cultural heritage, which led him to pursue a degree at George Washington University where he received his Master’s degree in 2007. He currently resides in London.
