Be fair in choosing your level of practice; there’s no need to challenge yourself by going for a level that’s too high. The aim of a course is to make the most of the content and transmission offered! Upgrading is the best way to miss out… on the essentials.
Finally, please note that international teachers will deliver their courses in English.

Lindy Hop – Levels

Lindy Hop initiation

You’ve never danced the Lindy Hop or Charleston as a couple, or you’ve taken a few introductory or trial classes a long time ago. You’re attracted to these dances but want to try out a class before committing to a regular course. This initiation is a great opportunity to discover or revive swing dances.

Lindy Hop Beginner +

You’re not a real beginner, because you’ve already taken one or two years of regular lessons, but you don’t practice much. You’ve heard of long and short variations (8 beats / 6 beats), as well as learned the basic Lindy Hop variations (swing out, circle, tuck turn, etc.) and charleston variations (tandem, hand to hand, etc.), but their assimilation is still fragile. If you’re really interested in Lindy Hop and want to consolidate what you’ve learned, this is the right course for you! Assimilation

Lindy Hop Inter

You’ve already taken 3 years of regular classes and you’ve been practicing socially at parties or practicing to a medium tempo. You want to improve your dancing by working on basic technical elements (connection, stretch, rhythm…) and learn new variations. This level is for you and will feed your desire to improve. Lindy Hop Inter +

For the past 4 years, you’ve been dancing regularly in classes and at parties. You’re hooked on dance and it’s part of your life! You enjoy getting into the details to feel more at ease with both slow and fast tempos. To feed your passion, you try out different classes and take part in festivals and workshops! You’re looking forward to working on new variations, footwork and technical points that will enrich your dance. Complexification

Lindy Hop Advanced

This workshop with international teachers is designed to feed your passion and your desire to perform. You have a solid experience of Lindy Hop through many years of practice and/or you’ve treaded the floors of numerous festivals or schools. You’re used to questioning your technique and your dancing. You’re quick to assimilate new variations and work on musicality. You know your strengths and weaknesses and aren’t afraid to work or train to overcome them. Expression

Solo Jazz Initiation

If you’ve been dreaming of trying swing dancing for a while, or if you’re simply curious about the experience, sign up for our initiations! They’re made for you.

Solo Jazz Beginner+ / Inter

You know the basics of Solo Jazz. You’ve been practicing for at least a year. You love to learn and want to develop your dance by learning new sequences and understanding musicality. This is the level for you!

Solo Jazz Inter+

You’ve been dancing for several years. You’re comfortable with the main Solo Jazz and Charleston moves. You’ve learned a few routines such as Shim Sham, Tranky Doo, Big Apple, Mamma Stew …. You want to work on improvisation and musicality – in medium tempos. You’ve come to the right place!

Solo Jazz Advanced

You have a good command of many jazz and Charleston solo steps and sequences. You know the rhythms, improvise regularly and you’re not afraid of fast tempos! You’re at the right level! You’re going to take this dance to the next level, perfecting the details, working on your style, your ease and your sense of musicality.

In order to offer high quality courses, we pay particular attention to ensuring that all levels of practice are homogeneous. Festival management retains the right to check that trainees’ level of practice matches that of the expected courses. We reserve the right to reposition trainees to levels of practice we feel are more appropriate. This approach is organized in the interest of all and in good humor. Thank you for your understanding.
