Holy Bounce Orchestra
Created in 2019, the Holy Bounce Orchestra will skilfully take you back to the great Swing era, when jazz and dance were part of popular culture.
From Duke Ellington and Count Basie to John Kirby and Benny Goodman, the H.B.O. pays tribute to the Swing Era and its great composers in the purest acoustic tradition, taking you back to the atmosphere of Harlem in the ’30s and ’40s.
Under the direction of double bassist Pierre-Yves “Pierrot” Brondel, who provides the arrangements and lets his creativity run wild, Holy Bounce brings together seven talented musicians who have been active on the Jazz, Swing and Lindy Hop scene for many years.
In a frenzied atmosphere, enjoy yourself, swing, dance until the end of the night and let yourself be guided by the sweet frenzy that descends from your ears to take hold of your feet…
