Coming to the festival
By train
Montpellier has two train stations: Gare Montpellier Saint-Roch, located in the heart of the city, 200 meters from Place de la Comédie, and Gare Montpellier Sud de France, a TGV station on the outskirts of the city, accessible by tramway (line 1).
By plane
Montpellier Méditerranée airport is 8 km from the city center, a 10-minute drive. The historic center is easily accessible from the airport, thanks to a shuttle, cab and car rental service.
Getting around Montpellier
By streetcar or bus
With 5 lines and 82 km of track, the tramway serves Montpellier and 8 communes in the metropolitan area: Juvignac, Jacou, Castelnau-le-Lez, Saint-Jean-de-Védas, Lattes, Pérols, Clapiers and Montferrier-sur-Lez.
It’s the ideal means of transport for getting to a number of tourist sites or simply discovering the city and metropolis from a different angle.

By bike
Montpellier can also be visited by bike, whether electric or mechanical! Freedom, punctuality, good for your health, economical, anti-stress… the bicycle has plenty of advantages. There are numerous cycle paths that can even take you as far as the sea, between vineyards and ponds. Velopark and velobox parking facilities are plentiful. And if you don’t have a bike, it’s easy to rent one or borrow a velomagg!

By car or by bus, where to park?
There are 3 ways to park your car in Montpellier: park-and-ride facilities on the outskirts of the city linked to the tramway (see parkings+tram), covered or outdoor parking lots and parking zones.
For a day trip, we strongly advise you to opt for the parking + streetcar solution.
