Born and bred in London&#8217;s East End, she&#8217;s very proud of it! She even created her own hashtag: #OriginalHackneyHipster!<\/p>\n<p>She is delighted to be part of the artistic community at Chisenhale Dance Space, which supports her current project &#8220;Radical Integration&#8221;, a work about the heritage and transmission of dance through DNA, with the participation of Othella Dallas.<\/p>\n<p>Her first dance experiences date back to the first generation of hip-hop dancers. As a young musician, she enjoyed playing various instruments. At the same time, she studied social pedagogy. In 1991, she discovered Lindy Hop.<\/p>\n<p>For over 30 years, she has been teaching and performing at dance and music festivals worldwide. However, true to her vocation as a community organizer, she regularly takes part in local events, street parties and so on.<\/p>\n<p>In May 2014, she experienced a career highlight by performing at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York.
