SWINGING AFRICA MONTPELLIER is part of the AFRICA MONTPELLIER season.<\/p>\n

This event took place on November 6 and 7, 2021, at the Maison pour Tous George Sand and Parc Rimbaud, in the Aubes district of Montpellier.<\/p>\n

For the occasion, Swinging Montpellier has invited the Hodi Maputo Afro Swing collective from Mozambique.<\/p>\n

This collective of dancers and musicians are leaders of the Afro Swing movement, which explores the vernacular roots of Swing and Lindy Hop. They criss-cross Europe and the rest of the world to exchange and share this history…. A long history between the African people and the rest of the world. <\/p>\n

A warm, festive encounter with these three wonderfully energetic artists, celebrating and highlighting the African roots of swing dance.<\/p>\n
