Flat rate of €8 – This price includes your tasting glass (€1 deposit) and 2 tasting tickets.
Bonus: This same ticket grants you access to the evening concert and the dance shows!
Food is available on-site from the best food trucks in the area.

The Great Swing Concerts
When night falls on the Peyrou Promenade, the Swinging Montpellier festival works its magic.
Join us every evening for exceptional concerts under the stars, featuring the cream of the crop of the national swing music scene!
Whether you’re a seasoned dancer ready to hit the dance floor, a jazz lover, or simply looking for a memorable summer evening, our bands are sure to get you moving.

- Showtimes: Concert starts at 8:30 p.m. – Concerts are free, but reservations are required
- Open-air café, food truck, wine and cocktail bar, and on-site food truck
Dance shows and swing dances
Swing shows & dances: 600 square meters of dance floor under the stars!
Whether you’ve just taken your very first steps in our introductory classes, are a seasoned dancer who’s a regular on the dance floor, or have traveled from the other side of the world to hit the dance floor in Montpellier, the Swinging Montpellier Festival is your playground!
Come enjoy the unique experience of dancing to live music in the heart of the magnificent Peyrou Promenade, on a special 600-square-meter wooden dance floor set up just for the occasion.
Breathtaking shows every night
Be amazed by exclusive performances! Every evening, the stage comes alive with unique shows featuring the world’s best dancers. A breathtaking visual spectacle, different every night (see our program for details on the performances).
📅 Practical Information & Hours
8:30 PM – 11:00 PM: The Grand Swing Ball with a live band.
10:00 p.m.: Performances by international dancers.
Price: Admission to the dances and shows is free, but entry to the festival grounds requires a reservation
🧳 Coat Check & Security
- A dedicated coat check is available for dancers to store their personal belongings with peace of mind. Fee: €3.
- ⚠️ Important safety reminder: For everyone’s comfort and safety, please do not leave any bags or personal belongings unattended. Please note that intentionally abandoning or leaving items in public areas is against the law. Please use the coat check!
INTRODUCTORY SWING DANCE CLASSES
Want to take your first steps in swing jazz? Join us at the Swinging Montpellier festival!
Every evening, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., take advantage of free introductory classes to learn the basics of Solo Jazz and Lindy Hop (for couples). The program changes every day, giving you a unique opportunity to practice with exceptional international dancers!
Please note: Depending on the instructors, some courses may be taught in English.
Children are welcome—a Swing Kids introductory session is scheduled for Saturday, July 18.
The introductory session is free, but registration is required.
