Laura Gassin is the illustrator who has designed the festival poster for the 2nd year running.

Laura is artistic director of a Montpellier-based company by day, and an artist-illustrator in love with the region where she grew up the rest of the time!

It was while trying to decorate a room that she wanted to reflect the city that she was inspired to create illustrations of Montpellier. A number of stores in the area soon took notice and placed orders with him. The story has begun!

From the coast to the hinterland, via the little streets of Montpellier, these emblematic places are sketched, chosen as she wanders and wanders. These modern posters, with their fresh, bright style, appeal to Montpellier’s residents and are great souvenirs for tourists.

Laura illustrates the Swinging Montpellier Festival for the 2nd time. For the 1st collaboration, the poster featured dancers on the Place Royale du Peyrou in Montpellier. For this new edition, the beautiful setting of the Place de la Comédie takes center stage.

Laura’s wish is for her posters to be emblematic of Montpellier and the surrounding region, and for her work to help people discover and appreciate these places.
